The Hut

About the Hut

 

Renovated in 2024, the Ramsbury Scout Hut is the home of the Ramsbury Scouts and is used by our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for their regular meetings. Outside of these times, the Hut is available for hire by other community groups and individuals wanting a modern, flexible event space. Key features include:

  • An open hall/event space of approx 9m x 15m

  • Kitchen with hob, oven, microwave and under counter fridge

  • Plates and cutlery for 50+

  • 70 chairs, 7 large tables (approx 80cm x 250cm) and 4 small tables (approx 80cm x 100cm)

  • Space heaters

  • Mens, ladies and disabled toilet facilities

  • Off street parking right at the door for 12 cars​

  • Open grass outdoor space adjacent to the building and ideal for bouncing castles or tents​​​​​​

Hire the Hut

 

The Hut is available to book for £10/hour. All facilities are available to use during the period of hire and we simply ask that everything is left exactly as you find it - all facilities clean and items where they were found.

The booking process is easy:

  1. Simply select the duration of the booking you require below

  2. See availability online

  3. Provide your details to make the booking request

  4. We will confirm your booking and forward payment details. Payment is accepted by bank transfer only and must be made in advance of the booking

  5. The day before the booking we will provide instructions on how to access the building and details of where to find everything.
