Fundraising for Ramsbury Scouts: Your Support Makes a Difference!

Each year, our Ramsbury Scouts fundraising efforts help sustain and enhance the experiences we provide for our young Scouts. These funds support essentials like subsidising annual subscriptions, sponsoring camping trips, and offering activities like archery and shooting. Thanks to these efforts, our Scouts enjoy opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun in ways that might not otherwise be possible.

On average, we raise £7-9K annually through key events such as our popular quiz night, the boundary walk, and the Ramsbury Run. We’re also grateful to receive generous contributions from the Ramsbury Charity Shop, which has been a consistent supporter of our group.

In recent years, our fundraising has also focused on refurbishing the Scout Hut. This exciting project aims to create a fantastic space for our Scouts and a potential source of income from private hires in the future. This new venue will enhance our activities and hopefully open up new opportunities for community involvement and resource sharing.

However, we can’t do it alone! To continue running these successful fundraising events, we need parents to step forward and help with planning, organising, and supporting. Your involvement makes a direct impact, ensuring we can keep offering these valuable experiences to our young Scouts.
